Star Wars: Scatterstar
"Execute order 66"
With those simple words, myriad Jedi and Padawans had fallen under the trigger of a blaster. They were all but purged from the galaxy. Survivors, desperate to live on hid, in exile and scattered to distant, remote planets. The Galactic Senate had crumbled, giving way to the Empire.

But balance must return to the Force, and secretly, Jedi are roaming the galaxy to find Padawans, a new generation to train in the ways of the light side of the Force. A rebellion is forming and those once undiscovered in the Wild Space and the Unexplored Sector are now making their voices heard.

ScatterStar is a Star Wars crossover forum based RPG set in the 26th century and takes place between Episode III and Episode IV. Ever wanted a Vulcan Jedi? A Klingon with a BFG 9000? A Roswell Grey Sith? A Yautja bounty-hunter who collects the lightsabers of his kills? A Wookie ensign in Star Fleet? In ScatterStar, all this and more can be possible.

Eye Witness (Vermin, Kael)

Post by Dvorak-Kevik-Vermin on Thu Feb 13, 2014 1:29 am

The med-bay was all white and pale blue, sterilized and sanitized. Though it was well stocked, it was a few years out of date, and small. The passengers from the shuttle numbered more than the available beds, and the droids and drones were nearly overheating from the work. What few organic healers and doctors there were were quickly burning out thanks to the glut of patients.

But Vermin had a report to write.

Vermin had been making rounds in the medical bay, questioning the wounded where he could, and letting the others rest. Gradually he got closer and closer to Kael, who was unharmed but still being kept for observation.

Eventually the turian came to the young man's bedside and pulled up a chair. "How are you feeling?" He asked, a little more gentle then he had been in the docking bay. "Do you remember me?"

Kael couldn’t say what happened back at the docking bay, one moment he was his logically thinking self, the next… well it was all a blur really. He now found himself within what he assumed to be the medical bay, or something similar. His mind was much clearer then back at the scene. This turn of events greatly troubled him. What would happen if he couldn’t trust his own thoughts? A frown danced across his face as he removed the flower pin from his breast pocket. He slowly turned it around in his hands as memories chased away his furrowed brow. That poor woman, she was supposed to be his partner in this…

A sound startled Kael from his thoughts. Clutching the pin his head in the direction of the noise he saw the… creature… from before. Kael closed his eyes and forced himself to relax. “Sorry, I think I’m still a bit jumpy from the accident.” He loosened his grip on the flower pin. "I-I’m fine.” He turned his gaze down at the pin and nodded in answer to the alien’s second question. Swallowing, he added. “She gave this to me to hold onto before…” Kael hesitated, he had something on his mind but wasn’t sure how to broach the subject. He then turned his gaze back at the… whatever it was. “What happened? Please tell me!”

"I'm Officer Vermin. We're still not entirely certain what happened." He admitted. "But by way of good news, you've been given a clean bill of health and you may leave whenever you wish. You'd have to pass through security clearance, but rooms are being offered at 75% off a night with a doctor's slip." He shook his head and sighed. He sounded like a damn commercial.

"Sorry, long day. I wish I had some answers for you...and everyone else who was aboard that ship. Did you happen to see anything from your seat?"
