With those simple words, myriad Jedi and Padawans had fallen under the trigger of a blaster. They were all but purged from the galaxy. Survivors, desperate to live on hid, in exile and scattered to distant, remote planets. The Galactic Senate had crumbled, giving way to the Empire.
But balance must return to the Force, and secretly, Jedi are roaming the galaxy to find Padawans, a new generation to train in the ways of the light side of the Force. A rebellion is forming and those once undiscovered in the Wild Space and the Unexplored Sector are now making their voices heard.

"Lord Commander, should I dispense the empire's probing protocol droids to local systems. I've made some upgrades to the..." Spoke a wiry, visceral Jackal from bridge's trench; his needle teeth coming to a tense close as he was cut off. Kappan's voice lingered over the jagged tones, drowning it out with sheer, soft deepness.
Suddenly, his solution came to him. "That will not be necessary. We shall give the the heretics thirty cycles luring them to a false sense of security. The more settled they become, the stronger their forces, sure. However, the more secure their base, they less likely they are to abandon it. A scattered foe will take to a home much more quickly than a comfortable one. The more precious their home becomes, the more devastating it will when we burn it where it stands." His four jaws clamped to a menacing grin. Kappan had a troubling task ahead of him, and he would have to act wisely as not to receive penance from his new allies, The Empire. He would not live on the recent praise of Pandora's fall. It was a great success, narrowing the potential uprising of new Jedi for the Empire by a grave percentage, but he would not become complacent.
In the glimmer of stars, shadows caught his two chiselled alien jaw, casting blackness atop shinning eyes, only the gold shined through. "Send for the White Triad, especially Striation, we have much to discuss." Without hesitation the grunts at the terminals sent out comm relays to holo with the Twi'lek, it would be a matter of moments before they could communicate freely.
Her leather corset exposed the Y incision burn on her collar bone. Red eyes stared ahead from over-darkened sockets.
She walked up to Kappan, the handles of her two lightsabers swaying on each hip.
She didn't bow at him, she didn't bow to anyone, not since her master was killed, but she respected Kappan, as much as she respected anyone.
"You called for me?"
He left her poor greeting to fall silent; after all, he was a senior member of the Triad. He calmed a pride that had no place at this meeting. He had to remember, she was responsible for eliminating the elusive Thiacyn. Still, there was a pressing issue. The quiet hum of the bridge lingered.
"Tracking the last of the Outer-Rim's Jedi Council, has proven to test us further, Striation." The star-map suddenly changed to a surveillance hologram recording. Kappa's quarrel with the two new Jedi. "The large one is a Na'vi of Pandora. The orders to destroy the planet were valid, the force ran free and rampant there. The way it moved could not serve us. However, the race of the small one eludes all Jedi, Clone, and Empire archives. It eludes me. Thoughts?" His voice hummed and growled, rotting in the open frustration.
And then, she saw it, a way the small one moved, for just a moment, she saw familiarity.
Her eyes narrowed to slits, the hateful red just glinting past the eyelids. "Thiacyn." She hissed the name out.
"The way he holds his pitiful saber. Thiacyn held hers in the same manner. More importantly, the focus in his eyes, like he's staring into the core of you. He looks at a foe the same way he looks at the Na'Vi. Like he's searching for a thread of...empathy. Thiacyn had the same gaze in her eyes."
She looked stoically at Kappan. "I never saw a padawan at her side. It must have been in secret. But now we know more of him than he of us. We have the advantage."
"I drag the pain and broken pride of people through this foreign world like an earthen slug; it is my only weakness. Yet, it feeds me rage. It feeds my understanding of the darkside. Perhaps, if we can narrow down this new Jedi's homeworld, we can discover his weaknesses. Then, our job becomes infinitely easier." He suggested, pacing over to his bone covered throne. It didn't look comfortable, but, watching him ensconce himself in the prophet's remains brought him a supple smile. His golden prideful eyes met hers of crimson rage.
"Officer, narrow a cluster of planets from where Pandora's orbit once was. Especially those within range of any known clone ship's fuel capacity. Once this is complete, I want an update, and for you to dispatch Reverent leaders with Jackal squadrons to do a thorough investigation. Save only what we need for defence of The Discord."
He kept eye contact with her as he delegated. "Pandora was still a primitive planet, pre-spacetravel. If our Jedi was there he would have arrived just after the purge - in some kind of clone technology." He explained. Knowing the surrounding planets may also lead to the other Jedi known in this sector, Oolong and Forte. It may also reveal where the rebel scum fled to...
"If you remember the planet, I will place my officer in charge and we will leave immediately."
"It wasn't a planet. It was a ship. It was traveling from Coruscant to Nagai. I believed she wanted to go home. I pursued her aboard my Z-95, The Incision, crippled her ship with my guns, boarded her vessel, and we dueled. Taking into account that it was she who felled Darth Malaise, and that she had eluded The Purge..I saw it as my personal duty to strike her down. I succeeded. I went to the cockpit to randomize her rout to ensure she would not get home to Nagai, then re-boarded the Incision and left her corpse floating in a lame ship."
But what she did not know, of course, was that her padawan, a gelfling, had been hiding on the ship, and had taken an escape pod after weeks of trying to survive on the drifting crippled ship.
An escape pod that had landed on Pandora.

The map flickered and the bridge went pitch black. All the lights that remained were red and gold eyes locked in pride and hatred.
